Running assessment

This is an assessment for all runners which looks at factors that can influence niggles or injuries.

What’s involved

An assessment involves taking a detailed history and looking at:

  • Muscle Strength and endurance
  • Training loads
  • Running on treadmill including video recording
  • Flexibility

What to wear

You will need to bring your running gear.

After the assessment

The findings may show imbalances or differences that can be improved to help make you a more robust and efficient runner that goes faster or for longer depending on your goals. If needed, we will give you a small number of exercises to work on or running cues.
