NEW class for mums

A new exercise class designed specifically for mums is now available at The Physiotherapy Centre on Wednesdays from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

The 10-week course addresses the pelvic floor, tummy toning and bottom and leg strength alongside postural correction and spinal mobility. The aim is that by the end of the course, participants will be able to continue the exercises independently or feel they have the confidence to return to their specific sport of choice.  

Women’s health specialist Jenny Deeming says: “Although the body is designed to change and adapt to the demands of pregnancy and birth, we know that getting your post-natal body back to a state where you feel confident that it is not going to let you down can often require a helping hand. 

“To ensure you get the most out of this programme, before you attend your first class, we will invite you to have a women’s health assessment so we can identify the key areas you wish to work on and set targets that will help you achieve your goals.”
