Pimm’s and Pilates is set to tempt local businesses to a free networking event on Thursday 18 July.
The event is jointly hosted by Haslemere Chamber of Commerce and The Physiotherapy Centre at Holy Cross Hospital from 5pm to 6.30pm.
“Networking is so much easier in a relaxed environment. What better way to unwind with your business community peers than with some relaxing Pilates and a glass of Pimm’s on our lawn at the end of your working day. We promise to provide a friendly and relaxed environment to make it easy and enjoyable to chat to each other,” says Jo Hounsome team leader at The Physiotherapy Centre.
The session is free and ample parking is available. Full details about how to book can be found at www.thephysiotherapycentre.org.uk.
Craig McGowan, President of the Haslemere Chamber of Commerce says: “It’s enormously beneficial to work together as a business community and also to get to know each other, share our challenges and achievements. Pimm’s and Pilates will, I’m sure, be not only great fun but a positive networking session too.”
The session starts at 5pm with an opportunity for informal networking and Pimm’s until 5.30pm followed by a 20-minute Pilates and stretching session. From 5.50pm there will be another half an hour of networking with Pimm’s plus a further 20-minute Pilates and stretching session. The Pilates is optional.
The Physiotherapy Centre recommends relaxed comfortable clothing for Pilates but stresses this is not essential. Staff will provide tours of the centre which includes a hydrotherapy pool and a first-floor gym with great views.
The networking event will conclude The Physiotherapy Centre’s 10th anniversary celebrations. Wider community events are being held earlier in the day, with talks, exercise classes and activities for children. See the full programme.
