We are launching a new Pilates class for beginners on Thursday 8 March.Sign up to find out what makes this rehabilitation-focused activity so popular.
Our weekly Pilates group continues to be extremely popular with people seeking the peace of mind that comes from taking part in a class led by a physiotherapist. To satisfy demand for this popular rehabilitation-focused activity, we are launching a new Pilates class for beginners on Thursday 8 March.
The class will operate on a rolling six-week programme and will be held in St Hugh’s, which is our brand-new training centre.
Pilates is suitable for all ages and abilities and can be particularly beneficial for those with a history of back pain and for people looking to improve their strength, flexibility and function.
To keep up to date with the latest techniques, team members Jenny and Manuela recently attended a two-day Pilates training course for health professionals.
The training was based on the latest evidence in spinal stability, pelvic stability, strength, conditioning and pain. Jenny is looking forward to introducing some of the techniques to her new Thursday class.
As well as our classes, we also offer Pilates for groups of up to three people. Contact us to book your assessment or to find out more about Pilates.
