Keen walkers are invited to enjoy some of the spectacular Haslemere countryside by taking part in Holy Cross Hospital’s Friends’ annual sponsored walk.

The 12-mile walk will take place on 5 October starting at 10am and leaving from the Hospital.

Chris Hinton, Chief Executive of Holy Cross Hospital says: “Individuals or groups of people will be more than welcome to join in this friendly, local walk. We would encourage walkers taking part to raise at least £100 sponsorship or to make a donation. All money raised will go towards buying equipment or items for our patients and will be greatly appreciated.”

The route will include several sharp hills and some uneven footpaths. It is expected that the walk will take around six hours to complete and will include a light lunch, which will be provided. Walkers will need to wear suitable clothing and footwear.
